About Us
Our History
In 1949 Master Blue Print opened its first office in downtown Madison, WI with five employees offering blueprinting services to the architectural and engineering industry.
In the early 1980's, the advent of the PC and affordable software led Master Blue Print to recognize the potential benefits of CAD software for our clients. This recognition led to business expansion and the opening of new offices in Appleton and Milwaukee.
During the 1990's, the company merged with two local CAD dealers and secured Autodesk certification for selling AutoCAD software statewide. In 1993, Master Blue Print changed its name to MasterGraphics.
In the 2000's, MasterGraphics expanded again with a new 15,000 square foot facility in Waukesha. In December 2000, MasterGraphics successfully launched its online merchandise store to sell plotters, plotter supplies, drafting supplies and software nationwide.
MasterGraphics expanded into Minneapolis (Minnetonka) in 2005 with the acquisition of Quannon CAD Systems, and in 2006 opened an office in Chicago (Rolling Meadows).
Today, MasterGraphics employs more than 120 professionals in offices in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota. We serve client needs with CAD software solutions, training & e-learning, support programs, digital printing solutions and supplies, digital imaging and documentation services. We continually strive to keep our clients profitable and competitive well into the future.
